The National Cadet Corps has completed 61 glorious years in the service of the nation. It began as the university corps in 1917, after many changes down the years, has come to be known as the National Cadet Corps since 1948. Thus, started as a vibrant youth movement, covering almost 539 districts in our country including Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep group of islands with nearly 12 million cadets, NCC is possibly one of the largest youth organisations in the world.
Ncc is a highly reputed body which is also a second line of defence. Other than military training the cadets also learn several other valuable things such as selflessness, honesty, discipline, hard work and ways to build confidence and gain leadership qualities.
Our school NCC (Air Wing) under 11 (A) Air Sqn(T) NCC, Tirupati . 50 cadets are given regular training thrice a week besides their participation in camps and other centrally organised activities by NCC.
